  7. What is QuickMove?
  8.  
  9. QuickMove is an AppleScript script which prompts you to choose a file or a folder to Move from one location to another location and allows you to rename it.

  11. Why use QuickMove?
  12.  
  13. QuickMove as in it's name is quick.  There is no need to duplicate a file and the chase it through several levels of folders.  QuickMove does this for you.  You also have the option (if you have registered) to rename the new file/folder.

  15. What do I need to run QuickMove?

  17. System 7.5 or above
  18. AppleScript extension
  19. Finder Scripting Extension
  20. Scripting Additions
  21. and about 1500k free RAM (the program it'sself only needs 200k but AppleScript needs about 1000k of RAM to operate)
